Sommet climatique de l'ONU 2025 : engagements significatifs annoncés sur l'action environnementale

On December 12, 2025, the United Nations Climate Summit in Paris concluded with a series of landmark commitments aimed at combating climate change and enhancing global environmental sustainability.

During the final day of discussions, representatives from over 190 countries agreed to prioritize urgent actions addressing the rising temperatures, deforestation, and pollution issues contributing to global environmental degradation.

Key among the commitments was the "Global Green Pact," which aims to transition 70% of the world's energy production to renewable sources by 2030.

This ambitious target was endorsed by major economies, including the United States, China, and the European Union, signaling a significant shift in international climate policy.

The pact also includes provisions for extensive reforestation projects, requiring participating nations to restore at least 15% of their forest cover by the end of the decade.

In conjunction with these agreements, a groundbreaking initiative to allocate $100 billion annually towards climate adaptation and mitigation strategies in developing nations was also established.
