How the estimate works

Each passage increases in sentence complexity, inference, and abstract meaning. Your estimate is the highest consecutive band answered correctly, so a difficult lucky guess cannot skip a missed foundation. If the first A1 question is not answered correctly, there is no consecutive band to report, so the test says it cannot place your level rather than reporting A1.

All five passages are in English, so the result describes English reading only. It is not evidence about Italian, Spanish, or French, and it is never used as your level in those lessons. If you want a lesson to start at a particular band, you tell us that level yourself.
